The service can refer women to safe accommodation if required.

SARC (Sexual Assault Resource Centre)
24-Hour Crisis line - 9340 1828 - A registered nurse takes the call, for those over 13 years of age where sexual assault or abuse has happened; 24 Hour SARC Counselling Line - 9340 1899.
1300 659 467 (7 days per week from 10.00am until 8.30pm) This is a free nation-wide telephone support service for those at risk of suicide, their carers and those bereaved by suicide. Up to six 50-minute telephone counselling sessions may be provided (scheduled to suit the caller). At times calls may be answered by an answering machine as it is a call back service, so if it is a crisis call phone 000, the local Mental Health Emergency Response Line (1300 555 788) or take the at-risk person to the nearest hospital emergency department.

Friendly, trained Information Resource Officers refer callers to government and community services to assist them.
